Meet With Hanna
The first in-person meeting called vision one-on-one, is where Gabriela was able to sit down with Hanna and paint the full picture of what she wanted her dream dress to look like. Gabriela knew she wanted the dress to represent her personal style while also flattering her body shape, so they discussed everything from silhouettes to intricate details that would make her personality shine. She also wanted the gown to be versatile in order to create three separate looks.
Design Review
This is where Gabriela's vision transformed from an idea into a beautiful sketch designed just for her.
Fabric Selection
After reviewing the sketches with Hanna and making any final adjustments, it was time for Gabriela to choose from a selection of high-quality fabrics, curated just for her, including sentimental lace picked out from her mother-in-law from Turkey. This would be the first step in the physical crafting of the gown.
HGS seamstresses are incredibly skilled at what they do and take time and patience when crafting dresses to ensure every detail is perfect. The hard work paid off, as Gabriela said she could notice the "impeccable craftmanship" that went into the making of her dream dress.
Flawless Fit
Our gorgeous light-filled studio in Miami is the perfect location to experience everything that goes into designing- and perfecting a dress made for someone.
The addition of music and bubbles at fittings made Gabriela's experience even more personal and luxurious.
Fittings helped ensure Gabriela's three different looks would transition seamlessly. What looked like an all-over strapless lace gown transformed into a structured solid silk satin crepe gown for the after-party.
