The most viral wedding of the summer was the glamorous union of the creative director of The Bar, Bridget Bahl and plastic surgeon, Dr. Michael Chiodo. The Rehearsal Dinner
This iconic rehearsal dinner required permits to fully shut down a block of Soho’s Greene Street. The dinner for 40 was held in front of Soho’s Dior store. Their tablescape was minimalist and modern, using a pure white color scheme, candle light and ivory tulip centerpieces.
The Dresses
The bride wore three gowns for her big bash. For both the reception and after party, Bahl wore Shrimpton Couture, maintaining a sensual and timeless aesthetic with floral details and vintage corsets. For the ceremony, Bahl stunned in this lace corset gown adorned with delicate flower appliques from Oscar de la Renta’s Spring/Summer 2019 Collection.
The Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place at 620 Loft & Garden rooftop, overlooking Rockefeller Center. Bahl remarked, “It’s just this secret little hidden gem in the middle of Manhattan, and you’re right next to St. Patrick’s. It’s beautiful.” The aisle was styled with pastel pink and green hydrangeas and a breathtaking city skyline backdrop.
