With the autumn leaves changing, wedding themes and color schemes are transitioning as well. This fall, the biggest color trend for autumn weddings is rust. This burnt orange hue makes for the perfect fall accent to any big day and here are some ways to incorporate just that with the help of HGS bride Maria Fernanda.

Floral Arrangements

Bouquets are the perfect item to put your wedding’s color scheme on display. Our bride, Maria Fernanada used pale white, yellow and pink roses with deep orange centers.

For that extra touch of burnt orange, this bouquet includes natural dried filler pieces as well, pairing beautifully amongst the soft and warm florals.

Tablescapes

A tablescape provides a blank canvas for brides to create any ambiance of their choosing. For this decor, the couple used an elaborate floral centerpiece filled with warm tones, especially deep oranges and pale yellows and pinks for contrast.

Another great way to play into the warmth that is burnt orange is using an abundance of candlelight. These thick white candles lit, naturally showcases the tiniest hint of rust hues.

The Venue

Another term popularly used for this rust color scheme is terracotta. This bride and groom incorporated this into their wedding decor by using literal terracotta pots scattered amongst their wedding venue for a subtle burnt orange accent.

Couple, Maria Fernanada and Alex chose a wedding venue that already included their wedding color. Tulum’s Hotel Panamera, has an elegant and modern burnt orange checkerboard tile surrounding their pool providing a perfect built in, on theme statement.
