Trend Forecast for This Year’s Bridal Fashion Week

With Bridal Fashion Week coming up, (mark your calendars, it begins April 13th) here are some trend predictions designers will be debuting!

90's Inspired Looks

Fashion from the 90s has really started to make a comeback this year, and it is beginning to infiltrate the bridal scene as well. Expect to see cowl necklines, puff sleeves, and simple slip-dress silhouettes.

Mini/Midi Length Skirts

The rise of small weddings and elopements has caused brides to favor shorter skirts when tying the knot. Shorter silhouettes provide more of a casual feel and are the perfect fit for a less traditional wedding or any pre-wedding festivities.

Sheer Fabrics

For the daring bride who wants to show some skin, sheer fabrics keep the classic white wedding palette while adding an untraditional flair, choose sheer bridal wear for your wedding. Transparent fabrics have been a major bridal trend in 2023, and we do not see them going anywhere soon.

3-D Elements

Whether it be flowers, appliques, or ruffles, bridal wear will see more artistic expression through fabric this year. For a unique look that emphasizes texture and shape, include 3-D elements in your wedding wear.

Sleeves

Many brides have recently been embracing a fairytale aesthetic at their weddings that are complimented perfectly by an off-the-shoulder neckline. Sleeves are so versatile because they change necklines, can be removed for a different look, and really add to a dress. HGS bride Valeria is wearing a custom Hanna Gotz Studio gown paired with gorgeous lace sleeves for a magical look.
